My sister-in-law and her finance borrow my brother-in-laws Jeep and say they want to go "up on the mountain" so, as always, I am game...I had just installed my new 31 x 10.5 Kumho mudder tires the day before...and also had a new chain to try out.

This is the entrance to where we will be going.

That's me in the red...I had already come up this area only to have Mark get stuck right near the top.

So I go back down through the woods to get behind him and give him a yank out...that's me in the red again...with the mighty V8 and new mud tires

I then proceed to show him that it was not a fluke that I made it up the first time.

A little while later we come up on this field that has a "race track" pattern around the outside edge...someone has been playing in the mud...

I get about 2/3rds the way around and get caught up on both pumpkins when the wheel lanes get much deeper really quick.

This is what it looks like and I am stuck...BIG TIME...

Now a front passenger side view...

We tried pulled it out with the Jeep...no go...

We tried using the high-lift jack to get the pumpkins off the ground and place what wood/rocks we could find under the tires...no go...

We finally gave up and went into town...good thing we travel in pairs...to get some more help.

Two of my brother-in-laws come back up with us and this one gets the Jeep stuck when showing off...jeeze he's lots of help...

Luckily some friends of ours came by while we were gone and recognized my truck so they came back after awhile to see if we needed some help...well ok if you insist.

The old beater Bronco with lots of lift and bald 36" tires yanked me out...and then pulled my brother-in-law out also.

He then proceeded to break-down and barely limped home.

This is what happens when a lead footed fellow is pulling you out and you get your signals crossed...I was already out of the hole and had my foot on the brakes so I would not slip back in and he rared on it to pull me farther back. Oh well I wanted a new back bumper anyways...this one did not have enough jack points for the high-lift.
